Happy Birthday Dad/Poppy!!

Whew - my Dad turned 64 years young today... Yay for him... No one would guess he was in his 60's let alone almost half way through them... ;) LOL...

BSM - New Friend...

Here are my cuties snuggling with their new puppy that Daddy surprised us all with Friday night.

Her name is Daisy Minnie and the kids just adore her. So far she has been quite the good lil pup. Has only had 2 accidents in the house, is great with the kids, and hasn't howled at all at night (fingers crossed I don't jinx tonight)... We feel very lucky she has joined our family.

BSM - Sunshine and Glitter...

Oh this sunflower is so pretty!

We had a great weekend and I'm all a glitter... My cousin Sarah and her husband Phil called my Mom Friday afternoon and since their plans of camping got squashed due to weather they decided to come and see us... We were all thrilled. Not only did we get the chance to see Sarah twice this summer it also gave us the opportunity to actually get to know Phil who we had all only met once prior to their wedding back in June. Now we new the obvious that he was a nice guy because Sarah chose him but we really didn't know Phil... Well after a BBQ, a drive to the waterfalls during a torrential downpour, go cart racing, some good and not so good drinks, shopping, etc... etc... we finally got to spend some time with him... All I can say is WONDERFUL... Not only did my husband and I really like him but you know he's a terrific guy when my very, very, very shy daughter who has a hard time hugging some people she knows very well goodbye - not only high fives him and gives him a hug ---- she also gave him a smooch goodbye. Now that right there says it all. He was wonderful with our kids not only did he take the time to get to know us he took the time to get to know them too. So all in all despite the horrid rain storms it was a great weekend.

Theme Thursday - FASHION...

The first night we arrived in our second destination we took the kids to The Old Spaghetti Factory (NOT MY CHOICE) but it was pretty economical and they loved it so the second day when they asked to go there again - we couldn't refuse...
